Steve is the Founder of GRS Recruitment, Cyprus’ largest recruitment, payroll, and HR solutions provider, which also have offices in Malta. With over 30 years of experience in executive search and professional recruitment in the UK, Cyprus and Malta, he has played a central role in establishing and growing GRS into a market-leading consultancy serving both local and international organisations.

Steve began his career in recruitment with Hays Plc in London after graduating with an LLB in Law from Manchester Metropolitan University. There, he established and led the company’s Property Recruitment division in London’s West End, building and managing a high-performing team specialising in the placement of professionals with Family Offices, Property Companies and Professional Services firms.

He later joined US-based recruitment firm Spherion, where he specialised in placing qualified accountants from Big Four firms into FTSE 50 organisations. This period further strengthened his expertise in executive search, finance recruitment, and senior-level professional placements across competitive markets.

Following his relocation to Cyprus, Steve established GRS Recruitment in 2004. Since then, the business has grown significantly, providing permanent recruitment, temporary staffing, executive search, payroll, and HR services across key sectors including Financial Services, Forex, FinTech, Professional Services, Shipping, Technology, and Construction.

As Founder, Steve leads the strategic direction and growth of the GRS Group, overseeing operations across Cyprus and Malta. He remains actively involved in business development, client relationships, and market engagement, ensuring the business maintains its reputation for quality, trust, and long-term partnerships.

Steve continues to play an active role in the regional business community and recruitment industry, supporting organisations in Cyprus and Malta with talent acquisition strategies and workforce solutions aligned to evolving market needs.
