An Administrative Service Provider specialising in global corporate structuring, helping businesses and individuals who wish to protect their assets to invest and expand their operations into new international markets, are working with GRS to recruit a Corporate Lawyer / Compliance Officer. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ post qualified experience and hold either the AML or Advanced CySEC Certificate. This is an established well known firm that provides legal services for individuals and companies at a national and multinational level. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a Compliance Officer on two Funds registered by their office.
  • Respond to the regulator’s requirements.
  • Review and process KYC documentation.
  • Review and draft directors’ and shareholders’ minutes and resolutions, Power of Attorneys.
  • Review and draft Commercial Agreements and Legal Agreements (SPA agreements, Shareholders agreements, Loan agreements, Pledge agreements etc.)
  • Advise clients on matters relating to commercial agreements, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Perform legal research and prepare relevant reports.
  • Provide legal opinions.
  • Have direct communication with clients and attend meetings.
  • Undertake any other duty related to the above, to the provision of administrative services or within the area of corporate / commercial law.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelors Degree in Law.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Holder of the AML or Advanced CYSEC certification.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cyprus Companies Law and overall knowledge of the legal framework regulating or relating to Cyprus companies, Anti Money Laundering Regulations and the Provision of Administrative Services.
  • Excellent knowledge of companies’ laws and requirements of foreign jurisdictions, such as British Virgin Islands, Belize, Saint Kitts and Nevis, etc.
  • Good knowledge of compliance requirements and procedures.
  • A team player and a highly motivated person.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to deliver results and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Dynamic person with pleasant personality.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English language both written and spoken.
  • Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point).
