Legal and Compliance Assistant - Forex - Limassol - Cyprus

On behalf of our client, a well established investment firm, GRS are seeking a qualified Legal and Compliance Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Law degree and 2 years of experience to get into compliance and get familiar with CySEc regulations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Review and prepare legal documents
  • Assist in the drafting of compliance policies & procedures
  • Conduct internal compliance audits
  • Monitor and advise on new and ongoing projects, mainly from a legal perspective
  • Supervise the company’s monitoring unit
  • Perform research and provide guidance on legal and regulatory matters
  • Preparation of monthly regulatory reporting
  • Report directly to the Head of the Company’s Legal & Compliance Department

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Qualified lawyer (member of the Cyprus Bar Association)
  • Experience 2+ years in a law firm and/or investment services firm
  • Good knowledge of CySEC laws will be considered an advantage
  • Holder of the CySEC Basic or Advance certificate will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Professional and trustworthy
