Business Development Director - IT - Nicosia - Cyprus

On behalf of our client, an international software solutions provider who is currently expanding in Cyprus, aiming at becoming a leader in a flourishing and expanding sector. We are therefore actively seeking an experienced Business Development Director who will establish his/her own identity in the market.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates new business opportunities in the Cyprus market by means of attracting the interest of prospect clients.
  • Develops and handles client proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiates new contracts and re-negotiates existing contracts.
  • Extensively seeks to improve, further develop and build on to the existing client relationships so as to maximize the company’s potentials.
  • Monitors, evaluates and reports on competitors’ sales strategies.
  • Maintains strong and healthy client relationships.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree in a relevant field. Postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Extensive, experience in the sale of software solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Fluent English. Any additional languages will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent managerial and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and methodically.
  • Motivated and eager to learn about the effective use of technological tools in business sector.
